The Budgie Way

At the beginning of 2023 we will be introducing 'The Budgie Way'. 'The Budgie Way' is a short intensive introduction to our behaviour expectations at Budgewoi Public School. Teachers and our school executive will teach and discuss these expectations with all students over the first three weeks of school, followed by re-teaching them at intervals throughout the year. Our core expectations to be taught in our 'Budgie Way' will be:

1. How to transition around the school
2. Behaviour at assemblies
3. How to enter and exit from classrooms
4. Using respectful language
5. Being in the right place at the right time
6. Uniform expectations
7. Keeping our hands and feet to ourselves.
